Burke is a busy boy!

Love this picture and wanted to share it. We had a fun day while Mom was substituting at school. Burke is such an easy and happy baby and I love to get to be with him.

Another First

Burke's first trip to Breckenridge! It was fun to take him up in the gondola for the first time and Mom and Dad got to ski a little. I took a few runs, too. Burke loved watching all the people in the lodge area. It won't be long until he is racing down the slopes!

I have been thinking lately how very blessed I am to have two incredible daughters in law. They have very different personalities but share some of the same amazing qualities that make them both very special.

I think what I love most of all is that they love God and desire to follow Him in all that they do. They are the very ones that I prayed for when the boys were growing up and knew that they would need someone special to share their lives with. God certainly answered those prayers over and above anything that I could have asked.

They are thoughtful, giving, kind and love my sons ( a sure way to a mother's heart!). They both love to read (another big plus in my books), are very creative, smart and a joy to be around. I love both of their families and am so happy that we can spend time together. Although, we don't get to see Leslie's parents very often, we are thankful that they are close to the kids and able to spend time with them on a regular basis even if we can't.
